In 1996, the University of California Davis verified that Cabernet Sauvignon originates from an accidental
cross-pollination of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc in the 17th century in southwest France. Thus,
Cabernet Sauvignon was born and we've been savoring it ever since.
